man this image takes me back!miss 12 and her bestie got interested in the idea of making aprons recently, so tara went and bought a pattern (man, they're expensive nowadays!) and some fabric and we went over yesterday to make a start.
we pinned the pattern on the fabric, cut it out, practiced on scraps of fabric, then off she went! we didn't get them finished, but i can't wait to post about the whole process!

i used to make my older girls' clothes all the time, but cheap asian-made clothes put paid to that a long time ago.
helping her get started, i almost wished I was sewing something!
