september 11th

i took miss 11 and 5 of her classmates to our local SPCA yesterday as part of their school social enquiry that 'a 12 year old can change the world'.

they donated blankets, pet food, soft toys and shredded paper (for bedding) and when we got there, spent time grooming the pets and playing with them.

i just felt so bad for these puppies. without exception, ALL the puppies were similar to this - [what i call] a fighting breed.

so sad.
